Maternal Health Nurse Researcher and Educator Phyllis Sharps, PhD, RN, FAAN, is our guest on this episode of Nuring Notes Live. Phyllis is the Elsie M. Lawler Endowed Chair, Professor of Nursing and Associate Dean for Community Programs and Initiatives, at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing.

She is internationally known for her research in maternal health and specifically the leadership of interdisciplinary research teams and advocacy for awareness about violence against pregnant and parenting women.
